Course Description:
Trainees will learn about the threats posed by hazardous wastes at the work site and where to find additional information about hazardous wastes and other materials; understand the medical surveillance requirements; understand and follow the practices and procedures designed to eliminate or reduce risks of an accident or incident; recognize the engineering controls deployed to help ensure safety; and understand the importance of, and be prepared to properly use, PPE.
